About Five Span Park
Five Span Park is located at the intersection of 111 and SR 637 in the north east corner of the county. The park is named for the number of spans that cross the Auglaize River, where the park is located.
Five Span Park has been a recreational area for more than seven decades, however, was officially acquired in 2018 from the Paulding County Commissioners and improvements have consistently been made since this time.
For public enjoyment this park offers a seasonal floating dock, boat ramp, fishing access and picnic tables. Recently fire rings, trash receptacles, portable toilets, park benches and a swing have ben added.
There is potential growth and improvement opportunities being considered for this park in the future.
