About Cecil Bridge Park

At the foot of the Cecil Bridge on road 105 on the southeast edge you will find Cecil Bridge Park.

Located on the Maumee River, a designated State Scenic River, this peaceful little area provides access for kayaking, canoeing and boating, enjoy a slow leisurely float on the river, go fishing, have a picnic or just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

In February of 2017 the Paulding County Commissioners granted the right of way off of the Cecil Bridge for a canoe/boat launch. In July of that year work began on park improvments. The area was mowed and trash cans were placed on the site. A picnic table, cooking grate, park bench and fire rings were later added. In 2019 the parking lot was improved and stoned. Signage was added. In 2022 additional improvents included the addition of a shade structure and parking lot upgrades.

In 2023 Potter Land Company gifted land adjoining the park. This has provided additional parking space.
